Photoshop is the most widely used, most popular and most powerful photo-editing software in the world and although many of today's Photoshop users probably can't imagine a world without the application.
Today, Photoshop is an extremely creative and powerful piece of software but it hasn't always been this way. If you rewind almost 2 decades, Photoshop didn't exist at all and even when the application was initially created, for lay man it was bit tricky and hard to understand the software which took some years to be explored by the people and by then today it is most popular application in the world of designing. Percentage of the world’s creative professionals that use Photoshop – 90%.
The software provides many image editing features for raster image as well as vector graphics. It uses a layer-based editing system that enables image creation and altering with multiple overlays that support transparency. Layers can also act as masks or filters, altering underlying colors. Shadows and other effects can be added to the layers.
